How Does the Canada Express Entry System Work?

Step 1 — Submit Your Express Entry Profile
Provide personal and professional details, including:

Step 2 — Prepare Essential Documents
You must gather:
• Language test results (IELTS/CELPIP/TEF/TCF)

After submission, you receive:
• Express Entry Profile Number
• Job Seeker Validation Code (for Job Bank registration)
Step 3 — Enter the Express Entry Pool
Your profile is ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
Step 4 — Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
IRCC conducts biweekly draws, inviting top-ranked candidates to apply for Permanent Residency.
Once you receive an ITA, you have 90 days to submit your complete PR application.

To qualify, you must score 67 points or more based on:
