GLOBAL WORKFORCE SEASONAL VISA (GWSV)

The GWSV is designed for experienced seasonal workers required for longer-term, recurring seasonal roles.
Key Features
• Validity: Up to 3 years, allowing you to return for three seasons.
• Stay Conditions: You can work for up to 9 months in any 12-month period. You must spend a minimum of
3 months outside New Zealand between seasons.
• Hiring Process: Your accredited employer does not need to advertise the role locally (no labour market
test).
• Language: No English language test is required.

Eligibility Criteria (The Applicant Must)

• Have a full-time (min. 30 hours per week) job offer from an Accredited Employer for a role on the
GWSV Job List.
• Have a minimum of three seasons of relevant work experience in the same or similar job gained in
the last six years.
• Meet standard health and character requirements (full medical and police certificates are
compulsory due to the 3-year visa length).
